What it takes to wear the crest
A degree in your field
Not a teaching certificate — a true degree in the discipline you'll teach. Mathematicians teach mathematics. Writers teach writing. We want masters, not generalists.
Proven expertise
You are recognized in your field — published, practiced, or performed. Your craft is your credential, and your record proves it.
Available Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm EDT
You won't be on screen for all eight hours — but you must be available throughout the CFV instructional window to teach live and respond in real time. Remote, but reachable.

No lesson prep — ever
Lessons, curriculum, scaffolding and pacing are all provided by the CFV platform. You can create your own if you wish — but it is never required. You simply show up and teach the way only you can.
